June 14, 2011: Everybody, Everywhere is Loving Lace

Lace | Everybody, Everywear

I haven't participated in alot of these Everybody, Everywear things but, I am going to try to stay more on top of it. There is another reason besides my bad timing; I haven't really been super into everything they have selected. I'm only going to wear things that I like on my body and already have in my closet. Today, I can definitely get on board with lace. I don't think it's the easiest thing to wear in an everyday capacity but, when it's done well it's really lovely, I can't wait to see what Everybody, Everywear comes up with!

December 7, 2010: Never Before Seen

I can't say that I was particularly inspired when I threw this outfit together yesterday morning by anything other than the cold outside and the need to cover up. The temperatures have taken a divebomb into freezing (Ok, maybe I'm being a little dramatic) and I don't care what anyone says we are officially in winter! I did try to punch things up with pops of opposing colors, i.e. teal shoes and multi colored earrings, so the outfit wasn't so drab.

You may remember these items from any outfits that I have worn before and that's because I haven't. Yes people, there are still items in my closet that you have not seen! I know, it's hard for me to believe as well and I'm the one whose putting all these outfits together. That is just a true testament to how much clothes I have but, also that we are in a new season. Frankly, I would not have been wearing sweaters and the like in the middle of the spring when I began this endeavor. Whew, now I don't feel so bad...

September 15, 2010: Early Morning Again

It's been a while since I had to wake up super early but, today is one of those days. I could totally go back to bed but, unfortunately I have some things to take care of...  While I want to be comfy and pajama-like I have a job fair to go to later today so (unfortunately) that can't happen. Instead I am keeping the pattern mixing thing going with polka dots and stripes!

May 19, 2010

Floral Week continues with this snazzy new banner! Even though I am wearing some floral fantastic-ness the gloomy weather and my sleepy disposition from being out late last night with mom at Chop for Charity is making me want to go back to bed! Albeit, my mom had a blast (the important part) and we did get some great pictures (mostly of mom with famous people) plus autographed cookbooks...

Meetings, presentation, and more "fun stuff" like that today! Plus a committee meeting after work... How long until the weekend, or maybe just some sun?
  • Top: pink v-neck top with floral corsage embellishement, New York and Company with a tank top underneath for the modesty...
  • Bottom: dark brown pants, New York and Company
  • Shoes & Accessories: silver hard wear embellished flats, Preview via Nordstrom Rack; coin pearl earrings, altered by me via mom (it's amazing what some needle nose pliers will do for you... maybe that could be a Work With What You've Got post but, I digress), cream Loeffler Randall for Target purse
